Microcapsules are commonly used in applications ranging from therapeutics to personal care products due their ability deliver encapsulated species through porous shells. Here, we demonstrate a simple and scalable approach fabricate microcapsules with shells by interfacial complexation of cellulose nanofibrils oleylamine, investigate the rheological properties suspensions resulting microcapsules.
